Job Description:
The Custodian position focuses primarily on maintaining a sanitary, clean, tidy, and comfortable environment at Zoot-owned properties with integrity and an attention to detail. This position is located at our offices in Bozeman. The Facilities Group focuses on maintaining Zoot’s physical property
Essential Job Functions:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, kitchenettes, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, gym, and other work areas at Zoot-owned properties.
- Wash tables and surfaces in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, kitchenettes, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, other work areas, and coffee bar.
- Sweep, scrub, and polish floor and lobby staircase.
- Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, metalwork, and stainless surfaces (i.e. drinking fountains, door handles, light switches, elevators, etc.)
- Dust and polish furniture, window sills, wood work, and cubicle surfaces.
- Wash walls, restroom stalls, and locker room and restroom floors.
- Wash windows, glass doors, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays.
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenish restroom paper supplies and kitchenette paper towels in proper receptacles.
- Wash, dry, and fold laundry used by custodial and kitchen staff.
- Maintain accurate reporting of low inventory to ensure supplies remain in stock at appropriate levels.
- Compliance with and knowledge of Zoot’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.
- Achieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.
