Erik’s Ranch & Retreatsis a nonprofit organization that provides meaningful living, working, and social opportunities for adults with autism. Our Montana ranch, located near Livingston, operates guest houses, tours, and ranch experiences that allow visitors to enjoy a beautiful setting while supporting our mission.
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to help with housekeeping, laundry, and general property upkeep at the ranch. This role would be a good fit for someone interested in living on-site and helping support the daily operations of the ranch.

Role Overview
The Ranch Housekeeper will help prepare our guest houses for visitors and keep ranch spaces clean, organized, and welcoming. The primary focus of the role is housekeeping turnovers, laundry, and basic upkeep across our guest houses and shared spaces.
This is a hands-on role in a rural ranch setting. The right person will be dependable, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and willing to help wherever needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Guest House Cleaning & Turnovers
Prepare guest houses before and after guest stays, including:
Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living spaces
Making beds and staging guest houses
Restocking basic supplies and amenities
Ensuring each property is clean, welcoming, and ready for arriving guests
Reporting any damage, missing items, or maintenance concerns
Laundry & Linen Management
Assist with ranch laundry needs, including:
Washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
Keeping laundry areas clean and organized
Helping ensure each guest house has the linens and supplies needed for upcoming stays
General Ranch Upkeep
Support general cleaning and upkeep as needed, including:
Tidying shared spaces
Helping organize supplies
Light cleaning around ranch facilities
Notifying the team of maintenance or property issues
Supporting seasonal deep cleaning or special projects
Guest Support, as Needed
Depending on the person’s experience and comfort level, this role may occasionally assist with simple guest-facing tasks, such as helping orient guests to their cabin or answering basic questions.
Ideal Qualifications
Prior housekeeping, hospitality, cleaning, or property care experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and able to work independently
Comfortable working in a rural ranch environment
Good communication skills
Willingness to help with a variety of tasks as needed
Ability to lift laundry, cleaning supplies, and household items
Comfortable with a flexible part-time schedule based on guest bookings
Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $30,000 - $40,000 (based on experience)
