We have partnered with a nonprofit organization in Bozeman and are recruiting for a Director of People and Culture. This organization is full of passionate people and ready to partner with their next Director of People and Culture to continue to be a nonprofit leader. This position is a hybrid position, meaning you will be in the office 2-3 days a week (Bozeman or Lewistown, MT).
The Director of People and Culture will be responsible for overseeing and managing general HR matters: recruiting, compensation, benefit planning, employee performance and growth, development training, employee separations, claims, risk management, all record keeping and documentation.
This role will also be responsible for important elements of organizational development: evolution of staff structure as needed, goal development and assessment, strategic planning, foster and cultivate the values-based culture, advise on organizational effectiveness and change management, and external trends that could impact the organization.
Salary: $90,000 - $117,000

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources leadership experience, senior or director level preferred
- Good at writing job descriptions
- Experience with complicated issues (such as managing risk)
- SHRM certified
- Experienced in ADP & Sage Interact, or able to learn
