Mid-Level Civil Engineer with Synergy Engineering and Konsulting (SEAK)
Synergy Engineering and Konsulting (SEAK) is a growing civil engineering firm located in Bozeman Montana. We work on both small- and large-scale projects in the Bozeman and Big Sky area, as well as projects further afield in the state and throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. We are seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This is a great opportunity for a junior engineer to continue on their career path and work directly with Professional Engineers on a variety of projects. We are looking for candidates with a passion for engineering, professional attitude and attention to detail who want to get real world experience on a variety of projects while maintaining a positive work life balance and enjoy the Bozeman lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
The position will entail working on a variety of projects from planning and zoning applications through construction design and inspection. The position is full-time and includes preparing site civil development plans, paving plans, grading plans, erosion control plans, watermain plans, sanitary sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and a variety of other engineering software design programs. Permitting and zoning research and report preparation for residential and commercial clients in varying municipalities. Maintaining project files and databases and construction observation. This is a career-oriented position under the direction of professional engineers and licensed surveyors with plenty of opportunities for growth so you can eventually work independently on projects.
Required Qualifications:
Full-time 40 hrs/wk
But for the right individual a 30-hour part-time position would be considered.
Wage:
DOE $65,500-$90,000 a year + annual employee retention bonus + production-based year-end bonus

Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a civil engineering or related engineering field and EIT certificate.
- A minimum of 3 year of engineering design and/or drafting experience.
- Positive attitude and desire to learn.
- Possesses a strong initiative to solve problems, develop creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- PE license
- Commercial planning design experience
- Participation in Community Boards
- Advanced Civil 3D design experience
