Morrison-Maierle seeks an entry-level Marketing and Events Coordinator to join us in our Bozeman or Helena, Montana offices. We are a 100% employee-owned engineering consulting firm whose mission is to create solutions that build better communities.

Opportunity:
 
This position is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the firm's assigned marketing and event activities. The ideal candidate's primary focus is to support the planning, logistics, strategy, and execution of multiple industry conferences to develop high-quality leads for the company. Duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
 
  • Coordinating events and conferences, including managing sponsorships, booth registration, conference attendees, supplies, on-site support, and other event logistics. Attendance at select conferences is required.
  • Analyzing conference performance metrics and providing recommendations for future improvements.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and attendees.
  • Manages company social media, including working to identify, plan, develop, and share content on all company platforms.
  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of branded apparel, promotional items, and giveaways, including purchasing, budgeting, expense tracking, and inventories.
  • Supporting the company intranet site and internal communications through content creation and posting.
  • Managing and coordinating special projects as assigned.
  • Supporting broader marketing initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong predisposition toward collaboration and coordination.
  • Ability to plan, manage, monitor budgets, and work with financial figures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly prioritize and complete competing demands.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills.
  • High proficiency with social media platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Interface effectively with employee-owners, managers, internal and external clients, and community members.
  • Positive attitude and professional bearing.
Salary:  $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
